I am fully supportive of these protests for lower (or rather stopping a raise in) tuition fees however I don’t feel the ones in Stafford have been planned very well at all. I’ve not seen the turnout for the one today obviously (as it starts in 10 minutes from this comment) but the last one I doubt actually needed any police notice. You could almost count the turnout on just one pair of hands, chavs hang around outside Maccies in larger crowds without police presence!
