Located towards the East of Central Stafford, The Gatehouse opened in 1982, the building previously being home to Stafford Borough Council.

The Gatehouse is host to many events throughout the year from touring professional groups as well as local amateur groups such as the Stafford and District Operatic Society and the Stafford Players
